AGAPE CARE OF TEXAS INC is a nonprofit public charity (IRC 170(b)(1)(A)(vi)) based in Weatherford, Texas. We serve vulnerable neighbors through community support & social welfare programs — so no one is left behind when compassion leads the way.
We believe a sustainable society begins with kindness. We envision a community where unconditional love — Agape — is shared freely and everyone feels seen, cared for, and hopeful regardless of starting point.
Every initiative starts from a simple belief: No one is left behind when we act with love.
Nutritious meals, water, and basic care for unhoused neighbors and low-income families.
Minor home repairs and essential supplies for seniors living alone and families in need.
Small gatherings for listening, companionship, and mental well-being support.
Coordinating with local groups to expand reach and reduce duplication of efforts.
As North Texas cools, we host our largest annual community gathering to bring warmth and Christmas joy to 200+ families. Everyone is welcome.
Last winter, our volunteers met Ms. Lucille, 82, living alone outside Weatherford. With no family nearby and a leaky roof, she was facing the cold alone.
A week later we returned with materials to patch the roof, plus blankets and a small heater. Ms. Lucille cried and whispered:
“It’s been so long since someone remembered me on Christmas Eve.”
Her words became our call to action. This year, we’re scaling the event so every neighbor like Ms. Lucille feels the embrace of a caring community.
We are recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity under IRC 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). Donors may be eligible for tax-deductible gifts under applicable U.S. law.
